After a protracted negotiation between Cremonese and Glasgow Rangers over a deal for Nigeria international Cyriel Dessers, the striker now look set to completing are about to complete the signing of Cyriel Dessers and bring him to Ibrox, according to a report.
Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio, on Friday, reported on Twitter that the Gers are on the verge of signing Dessers from Cremonese.
The Italian journalist has claimed that Rangers and Cremonese have agreed on a final transfer fee for the Nigeria international striker, suggesting it will either be a permanent move or a loan with an option to make it permanent, with an announcement expected in the days ahead.
“Documents are now being drafted for the 28-year-old to move to Rangers,” according to Romano.
Michael Beale has been in the market for a new striker having already made five signings this summer and the signing of Dessers will be very exciting and encouraging for the Ibrox faithful.
Dessers scored seven goals in 29 appearances despite Cremonese’s relegation from Serie A last season and it’s hoped the 28-year-old will be able to bring that goalscoring form with him to Glasgow.
