In his message to all the fathers, he stated that though a lot of credits are usually not given to the fathers, but however, it is God’s ordained responsibilities for the fathers to be providers and inspiration to the children as they develop into adults in the society.
“As a father myself and knowing the high expectations placed on fathers, my administration if voted into power will create policies that will empower and help the fathers in the state in their task at fatherhood “ he said.
He further admonished the children and the mothers to celebrate the fathers and the father figures in their lives because of the love, support, guidance and the role they play in the growth and advancement of the children, family and the society, noting that “the best gift to every father or father figure is for the children to excel and succeed in all their endeavors and become assets to the family and the society at large”.
