This was obviously acted to embarrass him. Honestly, I can’t fathom the sins of Governor Godwin Obaseki . We all known that COVID 19 took one leg of the world’s economy to the financial grave. Nigerian wasn’t immuned, neither was our dear state.
A governor that has constructed the heavily dilapidated lucky way in Ramat park, Obokhavbaye, Nevis, Asemota, down airport road through several communities to Ogheghe in Sapele road, Pz, Okabere, textile mill, Ekenwan roads, etc, can’t be said not to be as prudent as a pregnant rabbit.
A governor that has changed the face of government offices like secretariat building, staff training center, central motor park, etc, can’t be said to be an ole.
A governor that has successfully generated power through Osiomo and supplying light to the city center can’t be said not to have the economic growth of the state at heart.
A governor that has Edo production center for the training and production of metal parts can’t be said not to be alive to his responsibility.
A governor that has ensured that the state school of nursing is well equipped and accredited, and also turned Benin technical college to a modern day vocational training center, as well as ensuring qualitative primary and secondary education can’t be said to be an efulefu in governance.
A governor that pays salaries and pensions regularly when other states are owing is an odogwu. I can go on and on, but for fatigue.
Let’s not not jettison good governance on the alter of party politics.
Governor Obaseki has also not been involved in borrowing and our dear state recently came good in the ease of doing business as released.
