Benue State All Progressives Congress, APC, 2027 Governorship aspirant, Honorable Terwase Orbunde, has commended party stalwarts including Barrister Emmanuel Jime, Barrister Josephat Abaagu, Chief Nelson Alapa, as well as several former members of the Benue State Executive Council for rallying round Senator George Akume.
Honorable Orbunde made the commendation while reacting to the APC stalwarts’ visit to Senator Akume, the party’s leader in Benue State, North Central Nigeria, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The former Chief of Staff to the Governor of Benue State described the visit as a timely step towards acknowledging genuine leadership and strengthening the APC for the 2027 General Elections.
The Governorship Aspirant stated that the visit demonstrated that the APC stakeholders were closing ranks to work together for the success of the party at all elections.
Honorable Orbunde specially commended other key figures such as National Assembly aspirants and former members of the Benue State Executive Council who were part of the visit.
He expressed appreciation to Senator Akume for his large heartedness and the fatherly role he has been playing in holding the party together stressing that the SGF’s leadership continues to provide direction and stability for Benue APC and beyond.
Honorable Orbunde stressed that the 2027 General Elections will be won on the basis of teamwork, transparent service delivery and unity around effective leadership.
