The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Downstream Petroleum, , has called on northerners to support the re-election of President in the 2027 general elections, describing it as the right and fair decision.
Doguwa said the North should reciprocate the support given to the region by the South during the administration of former President .
According to him, “Voting for President Tinubu again by the North is a fulfilment of what is just, fair and honest, just like what the South did to us through late President Muhammadu Buhari; therefore, I expect an overwhelming number of votes for Tinubu in 2027.”
The lawmaker stressed that political fairness and national unity should guide the choices of Nigerians ahead of the next presidential election.
His remarks come amid growing political discussions and alignments ahead of the 2027 polls, with political stakeholders across the country already positioning themselves for future electoral contests.
