
Benue State All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship aspirant, Honorable Terwase Orbunde, has described the North Central Congress of the party as peaceful.
He also called for the adoption of progressive and inclusive politics going forward.
The former Chief of Staff to the Governor of Benue State spoke at the Congress held yesterday at the Government House in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
Orbunde stressed the importance of unity, transparency, and people-centered leadership within the APC.
He said the peaceful and orderly conduct of the congress indicated a positive sign of the party’s strength and readiness to consolidate its influence across the North Central region.
He urged party leaders and members to remain committed to democratic values and to work collectively toward building a stronger and more inclusive political structure that delivers meaningful development to the people.
The APC North Central Zonal Congress attracted delegates and party leaders from across the region even as it endorsed President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for a second term.
