Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, on Monday paid a courtesy visit to Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State at the Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.
He was accompanied by his wife, Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
The visit was in connection with 2Baba’s planned music campaign against violence, tagged The United North-Central for Peace Promotion (UNCPP), which is scheduled to kick off in Nasarawa State.
According to the artiste, the campaign is designed to promote peace, dialogue, and tolerance, with Nasarawa hosting the first phase of the programme.
Governor Sule commended 2Baba for the initiative, describing it as a laudable effort to engage young people and communities in peacebuilding through music and creative platforms.
The UNCPP campaign is expected to bring together stakeholders, traditional rulers, youths, and entertainers in the North-Central region to strengthen advocacy against violence and promote social harmony.
