President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday officially commissioned the Lafia Flyover and Underpass, a major infrastructure project executed by the administration of Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule.
The commissioning ceremony, which drew a large crowd of residents and dignitaries, marks a significant milestone in the state’s drive for infrastructural development and urban modernization.

Describing the project as a “legacy achievement,” President Tinubu commended Governor Sule for his commitment to transforming the state and improving the lives of the people through strategic investments in infrastructure.

“This project is not just a physical structure; it is a symbol of progress and a reflection of what visionary leadership can achieve,” President Tinubu said during the event.
The Lafia Flyover and Underpass is expected to ease traffic congestion, improve road safety, and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the Nasarawa State capital.

Governor Sule, in his remarks, thanked the President for his support and reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to continue delivering projects that promote economic growth and development across the state.
