Roma legend Roberto Pruzzo has revealed that Victor Osimhen will join Juventus in the summer transfer window, according to PUNCH Sports Extra. Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been linked to several top European clubs, including Manchester United and Arsenal.
Pruzzo, a former striker who spent 10 years at Roma, claims to have received the information from a reliable source close to Osimhen’s entourage. “I know that Juventus’ next striker will be Osimhen,” Pruzzo told Radio Radio via Sport Mediaset. “A reliable source close to the Nigerian’s entourage revealed it to me in Florence. They are certain they will be going to Turin next year”
Osimhen’s contract with Napoli includes a €130m release clause, which will drop to €75m at the end of the season. Several Italian sources confirm that Juventus is interested in signing Osimhen, who has impressed with 22 goals and five assists in 28 appearances for Galatasaray this season.
The Nigerian striker’s future has been the subject of much speculation, with Manchester United and Arsenal also linked to his signature. However, Pruzzo’s claim suggests that Juventus may be the front-runner to secure Osimhen’s services.
