Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has assured the national executive of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors of his government’s commitment to partnering with them in executing infrastructure projects in the state.
The governor made this promise when he received the institute’s national executive, led by President Kene Nzekwe, at Government House, Port Harcourt. The visit coincided with the institute’s Annual General Meeting and national conference, themed “Strengthening the Quantity Surveying Practices and Processes for Growth and Sustainability in a Turbulent Economy.”

He commended the institute’s leadership and members for their quality services to the state and nation, urging them to maintain professionalism and ethical conduct.
The governor also assured the institute of the government’s commitment to due diligence and engaging professionals in project execution. He noted that this approach has resulted in minimal failed projects in the state.
