Despite the ongoing squabbles within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has reaffirmed that the party remains united and committed to providing good governance in Nigeria. This declaration was made during a strategic meeting of PDP governors in Jos, Plateau State, on Friday.
Governor Mohammed, who is also the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, commended party stakeholders for their unwavering support. He emphasized the PDP’s unity, describing it as an unbreakable political party offering Nigerians hope and good governance.
Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, also reassured supporters that the party’s governors and critical stakeholders are committed to re-strategizing to stabilize the party and restore hope for Nigerians. He expressed gratitude to the governors and party faithful who attended the meeting, emphasizing its importance in charting a way forward for the PDP.
The meeting was attended by other notable PDP governors, including Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, Kefas Agbu of Taraba State, and Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State.
