The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has urged Nigerians to come forward with evidence to support allegations of homosexuality against two of its pastors.
Recent allegations surfaced online accusing the two pastors of engaging in homosexual activities, prompting the church to take action.
In a statement, the RCCG called on anyone with evidence or information regarding the allegations to contact the church’s leadership or law enforcement agencies.
“We take these allegations seriously and are committed to thoroughly investigating them,” the statement read.
The RCCG reaffirmed its stance against homosexuality, emphasizing that it is contrary to biblical teachings and Nigerian laws.
The church urged individuals with evidence to report to:
– RCCG Headquarters
– National Human Rights Commission
– Nigeria Police Force
“We urge Nigerians to provide credible evidence to aid our investigation and ensure justice is served,” said RCCG’s spokesperson.
The RCCG’s proactive approach aims to address the allegations transparently and maintain the integrity of the church.
