A young man yet to be identified was electrocuted today in Otukpo, Benue State, while vandalizing a transformer.
The incident occurred on a high-tension pole close to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) center before power was restored by the Jos Electricity Distribution Company (JEDC) .
The deceased’s body was found hanging from the pole with tools in his hand . This marks the second time the transformer has been vandalized, with a similar incident happening last year .
