A Nigerian lady shared a disturbing discovery she made inside a toothpaste tube she purchased at night.
The lady who is Identified as @flourish3065 on TikTok, recounted how she bought an Oral B toothpaste for N900 from a roadside vendor during the night. In a video shared on her TikTok account, she revealed the contents of the toothpaste, which turned out to be a smaller tube of toothpaste and paper.
The video captured the moment she exposed the deceitful packaging, wherein the smaller toothpaste tube was concealed within the larger pack of the economy size, secured in place with paper.Captioning the video with, “POV; You bought toothpaste by the roadside at night. My Nigeria people e never reach like this oo,” the lady expressed her dismay at the deceptive practice.
There was tension over this revelation from social media users, with many expressing shock and disbelief at the audacity of the seller. While some sympathized with the lady’s plight, others urged her to be grateful for at least receiving toothpaste, albeit in a smaller quantity than expected.
