Nigeria’s most senior court, the supreme court has fixed October 23 to hear the appeal filed by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, challenging the PEPC judgement that affirmed the election of President Bola Tinubu.
The apex court on Tuesday sent out hearing notices to the counsels for the respective parties.
Atiku Abubakar, Nigeria’s Vice-President between 1999 to 2007 is challenging Tinubu’s declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the winner of the February 25 polls.
