The Nigerian Envoy to Malaysia Ambassador Hajara Ibrahim Salim, has been described as best among women pioneers of the All Progressives Congress, who worked round the clock towards ensuring the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and other party candidates.
According to a statement signed and made available to journalists by her media aide Abbas Yaki, while reacting to a recent online publication that appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, not to consider his boss for any appointment.
The media aide described the publication alleged to have been sponsored by a group “Yiwa Kai Development Organisation” as malicious, ill and politically motivated contract to achieve selfish interest of some unscrupulous politicians.
Condemning the news publication, Yaki said it was primarily intended to blackmail the hardworking Nigerian Ambassador by corrupt elements, who see development as only the material gain they can personally accumulate.
He said Salim’s contributions towards the success of the APC in the just concluded 2023 general elections were second to none in the North-East.
He said, “As founder and National Coordinator North-East Frontier Forum for Tinubu and Shettima 2023”, Ambassador Hajara Salim, has penetrated through the entire six states of the North-East sub region to canvas votes for the APC.
“Not only in the headquarters of these six states, Ambassador Hajara Salim, has active and vibrant young men and women coordinators and members of the forum at local governments and wards across all the states, who worked day and night to ensure the success of out great party.”
He said the Nigerian envoy to Malaysia has supported many youths and women in Gombe State, North-East and Nigeria through scholarships abroad and business empowerment grants.
While describing her as woman of substance, the media aide announced that Ambassador Salim has positively influenced the renovation of many General Hospitals when she was the clerk to the State House of Assembly, Gombe.
The Media aide described Ambassador Salim as best among Nigeria women ambassadors, as she bagged several awards both from within and outside Nigeria especially in Malaysia, and brought many development projects and initiatives to Nigeria and Gombe State in particular.
“Hajara is the best hand in signing the Private Public Partnership memorandum of understanding between Gombe State Government and Lincolyn University College Malaysia, to take over the hitherto abandoned Gombe State University of Science and Technology, Kumo for the benefit of Nigerian students,” he said.
While describing the Nigerian Ambassador as one of the core founders of the APC, Yaki said Salim was better known as Mama APC being the most senior and first women among the APC pioneers.
He appealed to the president and his vice Kashim Shettima, to carefully consider those who worked for the APC for the benefit of the party and Nigeria.
“If at all anyone deserves an appointment from Tinubu, it should be our mother Dr Hajara Salim, who as a career servant in diaspora committed her meager resources to add value to the victory of the APC both at National and State levels. We witnessed it and participated in her struggles,” he added.
While describing the chairman of the group Adamu Umar Kumo as a well known political broker, the aide added that he is such a person whose business is to share malicious information from his political godfathers to tarnish the image of respected leaders who have their people at heart, in exchange of a short-term personal gains.
He said Umar made several political godfathers in his few years of rotten political career, but as at today, he is not together with many of them because of his alleged grody attitudes.
Yaki said, “Infact Adamu is not an APC member nor a supporter, so his baseless appeal on our ambassador is nothing but a lousy and scandalous contract from selfish and thirsty political dogs who make a living only through blackmailing of responsible citizens.”
He warned the group to steer clear of such murderous deals, as such may soon drag it to a deepest grave of no return.
